The data collected by SmartRefresh is used exclusively to:

• Schedule and perform auto-refreshes of the URLs you specify.
• Display your refresh settings and status in the extension’s popup interface.

We do not use your data for any other purpose, such as analytics, advertising, or sharing with third parties.

3. Data Sharing

SmartRefresh does not share, sell, or disclose any of your data to third parties. All data remains on your device and is only accessible to the extension for its intended functionality.

4. Data Security

Your data is stored locally on your device using Chrome’s secure storage API. We do not transmit your data over the internet, and we have implemented measures to ensure that the extension operates securely, including limiting permissions to only what is necessary.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

Your refresh settings are retained until you manually remove them via the extension’s interface or uninstall the extension. Upon uninstallation, all data stored by SmartRefresh (including URLs, intervals, and timestamps) is automatically deleted from your device by Chrome’s standard uninstallation process.

6. Third-Party Services

SmartRefresh does not rely on any third-party services that collect or process user data. All functionality is handled locally within the extension.

7. User Rights

You have full control over your data:

• You can view, edit, or delete any URL and its settings directly in the SmartRefresh popup.
• Uninstalling the extension will remove all associated data from your device.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the extension or legal requirements. Any updates will be reflected in the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document.
